Description

Uhm where to start...
I live in a boring place, it's actually a ranch. And I haven't got the money to go on a trip and take photos. So I built a piece of South-America in our backyard (mom wasn't very happy)

Fella and his friend Super Llama went on a trip to meet some places and the first stop was South America, where Super Llama shows where he came from.

This place is the Titicaca-Lake.
Where people live on top of the water, building the ground from .. dried grass or something like that, and they're also moving with it. You can see the Andes in the background.

I made the mountain, Andres out of sand and the green spots on it are moss.
The buildings are from corn leaves. (When I went to get them I ran into a thorn bush...)
I made the lake too but the water looked so awful that I cut it out so you can see just a little of that.

Fella and Llama got dirty when my cat suddenly walked into the Titicaka-Lake and shook the water on them. I could only print one Fella and Llama because we ran out of ink. So I couldn't change them to a new one.
You can see a poncho on Fella :) That's the national clothing. I want a poncho too :noes:

I did not use any digital program for cutting the picture. If you still don't believe me there is an other photo where you can see the whole thing, and my brother holding the white paper for the background: [link]

I needed the white paper because the trees in the background, they wouldn't look good there.

There are many mistakes on the picture, like the contrast, Fella is almost half white :<
I was waiting for such a long time to shoot the mountain when the shades are right.

I hope you like it.

It was my idea for the contest.

Wow! That's so cool! I really thought these were mountains unless I read your description! Well done!
