HOW TO ALLOW JOIN REQUESTS

HOW TO ALLOW GALLERY SUBMISSIONS

Since when you first make a group it won't allow any join requests or gallery submissions, you need to set up everything.
It's just the really important part, to allow these two stuffs in your group.

Go to manage members and choose the role to edit (such as members or the group admins)

Like on the example click on members,
The first line is the "on home, members" where you can allow people to join your group. Choose automatically approved or subject to vote . If You chose subject to vote you will have the chance to accept or decline member joins.
For this, don't forget to set up how many vote will it need to accept or decline a member "votes needed"

To allow people to submit any deviation go to "on gallery, members"
If You have more than one folders you need to set up all of them. If You have just the featured folder just simply click on
"automatically approved" or "subject to vote" (chose a number how many votes needed)
More folders: click on "Show all folders". It will show you a list of your folders and you can edit them all to "automatically approved or subject to vote"

how do you change the group's icon/photo? havin trouble with that since i'm a new deviant~ T^T

You just need to move your cursor on the group's avatar and it will give you a little pencil icon in the corner where you can change the avatar
